The Highland Restoration Association and Highland Area Partnership invite you to pick up litter in Highland this Saturday morning. Meet in the parking lot across from the Highland Center, 520 Olive Street, at 8:00 am.
The Highland Area Partnership will give away a free t-shirt to each volunteer. HRA will provide other necessary supplies. A limited number of trash grabbers will be available, but bring your own if you have one. A dumpster for non-toxic trash will be available on the parking lot of the Highland Center.
This clean-up campaign takes the place of the Great American Clean-Up that was rained out in March. Contact Highland Restoration Association at 221-7629 or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Also scrubbing down in Highland are The Friends of Greenwood Cemetery and the Shreveport Garden Study Club. They've also scheduled a clean up day this Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery. For more information 318 861-0917. Pictured above is a marker located in that cemetery.
